Dogsey

Ive always loved dogs every since I can remember and every birthday and christmas I would beg my mum and dad to get me a dog, but they worked all day and I was at school so they were right..... it wouldnt have been fair on the dog, also my mum is quite scared of dogs. Any way when I moved into my own house with my own life my mum bought me a puppy for my 22nd birthday and hes the best dog in the world, I did alot of research of which breed to get. Origanally I wanted a Shiba Inu but wen I found out that they cant always be trusted off the lead I didnt think it would be fair as we are always walking in the woods with my daughter and its nice to see then running free. So the breeder suggested a Norwegian Buhund or a Norwegian Elkhound.... well as soon as I saw a Norwegian Elkhound i fell in love with the breed. So we went up to see these little bunles of grey fur when they were 4weeks old and never looked back, He was the best present Ive ever had and the bond we have is very strong. We were very careful walking him wen he was a pup so as not to cause him joint problems in later life, and hes just turned 1 so now we enjoy long walks in the forests and woods where we live. He is an absolute joy to have and also a character. And I put in alot of hard work in the 1st year to get him trained and socalised and its al paid off as he is brilliant in any situation.
